This brand was founded on ethical production. Written in Sunlight began as a one-woman operation where Adria, the owner, managed everything from sewing and cutting out to social media and customer support from her Tauranga home. Our brand has now evolved to having several sewers work flexible hours from their homes/studios in New Zealand. Our clothing is ethically produced, with all garments being made in New Zealand. All sewers receive payment at the desired rates they have established for themselves. Being able to work flexible hours helps them to devote more time to other elements of their lives, such as their families, hobbies, and so on.
